The WSET Level 3 in Wines is an advanced qualification designed for students seeking to gain a thorough understanding of the factors that account for the style, quality and price of the principal still, sparkling and fortified wines of the world. The qualification will assist those who are required to make professional evaluations of wines with regards to their style, quality and price. This qualification provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making. The course is organized over 10 classes of 3hours plus an extra day for the exam.
The WSET level 3 exam has a theory and a tasting assessments. In the theory exam , you will need to answer 50 multiple choice questions and four OPEN questions. To pass the Theory part, you must achieve at least 55% in both the Multiple Choice Questions and Open Questions.
For the tasting exam you will have to asses two blind tasted wines, a red and a white, in 30 minutes. The minimum passing mark is 55%.
Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.

Note: it is not mandatory to pass the WSET level 2 qualification in wine before enrolling onto this course. However, we do recommend to contact us before deciding to book without passing the WSET Level 2, especially when they are not familiar with the systematic approach to tasting (SAT).

Part 2
- How to taste wines, describe their characteristics and evaluate their quality, using the WSET Level 3 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT)
The price includes all the wines tasted, classes, study pack, exam, and if successfully completed, you will receive the official WSET certificate and lapel pin!
The WSET Level 3 Award in Wines is an Advanced level qualification for professionals working in the wine industry and for wine enthusiasts.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
It is highly recommended (not mandatory) that you hold the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines or can demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge.
