A former WSET Level 3 student at Eleanor Wine Academy, Billur brings both expertise and a personal connection to the wines you’ll taste. With a focus on boutique producers and indigenous grape varieties, she’ll guide you through each pour in an engaging and approachable way, sharing the stories, regions, and flavours that make Turkey such an exciting and underrated wine destination.

During this two-hour tasting, you’ll explore six premium Moldovan wines, carefully selected to showcase the country’s diverse terroirs, indigenous grape varieties, and modern winemaking renaissance. Each wine will be thoughtfully matched with curated bites by Buza Wine & Restaurant, designed to elevate every sip and highlight Moldova’s rich culinary influences.
Leading the experience is Jared Cawley, WSET instructor at Eleanor Wine Academy, founder of Glorious Guzzles, and a dedicated advocate for the wines of Moldova. Jared actively promotes these unique regions at wine festivals and trade fairs across the Netherlands and is known for bringing wines to life through engaging stories, deep knowledge, and an approachable teaching style.
With a blend of technical expertise, industry insight, and passion for storytelling, Jared makes wine both accessible and inspiring—helping participants build not only their tasting skills, but a genuine connection to the world of wine.
