Who is WSET Level 2 for?
WSET Level 2 is ideal for wine enthusiasts and professionals who want a broader and more detailed understanding of wine. You do not need to complete WSET Level 1 before enrolling. The course is suitable for students with little or no previous wine knowledge who are ready for a more comprehensive qualification.

Learn to describe wines using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine®.

Learn the principles of wine storage, service and food and wine pairing.
QUALIFICATION
Assessment & qualification
The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines is assessed by a 60-minute closed-book examination of 50 multiple-choice questions. There is no practical tasting assessment in the final examination. Results are awarded at three levels: Pass (55–69%), Pass with Merit (70–84%), and Pass with Distinction (85% and above). Students who successfully pass the exam receive an official WSET digital certificate and digital badge, which can be downloaded, printed and shared online. Eleanor Wine Academy will provide instructions for claiming your digital certificate once your results are released.
