💎Hidden Gems💎 Domaine Naturaliste Chardonnay

Today we fly to Western Australia 🇦🇺 to discover the Floris Chardonnay of Domaine Naturaliste.

More specifically, we land on the cool southern part of Margaret River where you can discover this sustainably farmed vineyard.

As the domaine says “This style of Floris Chardonnay is a co-evolution of Modern Australian food and wine culture, which has great emphasis on balance, freshness and hedonistic pleasure”.

The light golden yellow color indicates that this Chardonnay is beautifully balanced. This assumption is also confirmed in the nose. Strong notes of grapefruit and fine jasmine blossom come together here, ideally complemented by a hint of wood. On the palate, the wine presents itself as fresh, slim and versatile with a cool minerality. The grapefruit is accompanied by lemon zest, while the floral notes provide a wonderful counterpoint. A wine that completely convinces with its precision and versatile nuances, right up to the long finish.

Food and wine pairing : ideal with veal or grilled fish. Also delicious with a Caesar salad. Perfect for your summer lunch 😎
