Last August, Eva Fricke Lorcher Krone Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese 2019 became the first German TBA wine to receive a score of 100 points from The Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate .
As this wine is young and with a tiny production, only a handful of privileged people have been able to taste the precious nectar, which unfortunately does not allow us to tell you more about the aromas of this precious Riesling.
But if you are lucky and willing to put your hand in the wallet, you may be able to buy one of the 18 remaining half-bottles, which will be auctioned soon at Sotheby’s London, for a price ranging between £2,000 and £3,000 (yep!)
🇩🇪The young producer from the Rheingau region of Germany has, since the creation of her eponymous estate in 2006, gained a wide reputation among critics and a loyal following among wine lovers and collectors. She has single-handedly revitalized the Lorch Valley by focusing on the expression of terroir, the purity of fruit and her relentless determination to revive old historic vineyards.
🤞🏼So let’s keep our fingers crossed that one of us tastes this nugget!
Cheers!
