Corpinnat's legends: Recaredo 1924!

Recaredo Serral del Vell 2013 has been recognized as the best sparkling wine of the year in the recent edition of the Verema Awards 2020 🏆. The awards, with a recognized track record in the world of wine, are voted on by the readers of the Verema.com blog, that Serral del Vell has been described as "intense and complex", "delicious on the palate" and with "very well integrated" carbon.

The 2013 vintage of Recaredo Serral del Vell is the result of the expression of long aging in Recaredo, with a minimum of 5 years and 7 months of ageing on the lees in the bottle 🍾. Serral del Vell, like the other Corpinnat de Recaredo, is aged with a natural cork stopper;🌱♻️ a sustainable, recyclable and technically suitable material to preserve the original meaning of the long aging in Recaredo and which is part of the winery's DNA, along with manual rinsing at desks and disgorging by hand without freezing the neck of the bottle.

Serral del Vell, farm character 🌾, it is a Corpinnat produced solely from the Finca Serral del Vell, a vineyard made from grapes of the Xarello and Macabeo 🍇variety and located on a small plateau, guarded by the Montserrat mountain ⛰️. The soils are calcareous and have a frank texture, facts that imprint an unmistakable stamp on each of the vintages of this Corpinnat ✨.

The average yield of the Recaredo vineyards in 2013 was 38.1 hl/ha (with a maximum authorized by Corpinnat of 80 hl/ha). @recaredo1924 works with low yields to guarantee the optimum health status of the grape, as well as to obtain greater quality and expressiveness from the fruit. A perfect pairing with your summer ☀️
Enjoy! 🥂
