Today we are excited to share the story of Philip Togni. Originally from England, Togni studied wine making at the University of Bordeaux and he moved to the Napa Valley 🇺🇸 in 1959, where he eventually opened his own winery 🍇.
In 1975, the Philip Togni Vineyard was founded. 🌟The vineyard has mixed soils of clay and rocky volcanic, and it has got planted to:
➡️82% Cabernet Sauvignon
➡️12% Merlot
➡️2% Cabernet Franc
➡️1% Petit Verdot
Up to this date, the vineyard remains a family owned business. 🏡 It is currently managed by Philip Togni and his wife, as well as their daughter Lisa Togni.
Philip Togni Cabernet Sauvignon 🍷 is a true Napa legend. It is tannic, bold, dry, and powerful red wine that is aged for about 20 months ⏳ in oak barrels before bottling. When you taste it, you will most probably recognise some oaky notes like tobacco and cedar, as well as black fruit and earthy notes.🫐🪵Elegantly structured and complex, the Philip Togni Cabernet Sauvignon ages very nicely and can make your heart sing! ❤️🎶
